come sempre manco da questo blog e dopo una canzone tristissima voglio offrirvi una speranza seppur lieve...con un gruppo inglese sconosciuto a molti che ahimè si è sciolto da un paio di anni loro sono i delgados e questa è: coming in from the cold

i delgados si formano nella fredda glasgow e il riferimento al freddo clima scozzese non è fuori luogo visto che i quattro scozzesi - e nella fattispecie alun ed emma veri leader del gruppo - non hanno mai nascosto che le (spesso) malinconiche melodie delle loro canzoni derivano dalle lunghe giornate senza sole, tipiche del clima britannico.
si formano nel 1994 e ahimè dieci anni dopo si sciolgono....regalano moltissime belle canzoni e sono da sempre legati per un'insana passione per il ciclismo...il nome del loro gruppo deriva da un ciclista spagnolo vincitore del tour de france nel 1988. in questa canzone c'è tutto: tristezza, speranza....and somebody to hold citando il testo...ho sempre amato questo video...lo trovo delicato e struggente...e poi rappresenta la metafora della vita....l'amore cercato e non voluto...e la tristezza di scaldarsi un pasto al microonde...è proprio il senso della vita....
